Give your coding agent a real Android phone
Run axilio login, then axilio init. Claude Code, Codex or Cursor gets a skill that teaches it to take a real Android phone in the cloud and drive it from the terminal with the axilio CLI.
Then ask for a job in plain words, such as researching a topic on X or checking a price in an app. The agent works it out live on the phone, then hands you a Python or Go script that runs again without it.
Updated October 5, 2026.
Two commands
Install the CLI, sign in once, and write the skill. Signing in is the one step your agent can't do for you.
1.0SetupInstall the CLI
With Homebrew on macOS, or the install script on macOS and Linux.
Sign in once
axilio login opens your browser. On a CI machine, set AXILIO_API_KEY instead.
Write the skill
axilio init finds the agents your repo uses and writes the skill for each.
Ask your agent
Describe the job in plain words. The agent takes a phone and starts working.
brew install axilioai/tap/axilio # or: curl -fsSL https://axilio.ai/install.sh | shaxilio login # sign in once, in your browseraxilio init # write the skill for your agentaxilio doctor # check sign-in, connectivity and setup
Claude Code, Codex and Cursor
axilio init looks for .claude/, AGENTS.md and .cursor/ in your repo and writes the skill where each agent reads it. Pass --agent to pick one by name.
2.0Agents
Explore live, then hand back a script
The skill teaches the agent to work one step at a time on a real phone, then turn what worked into code you keep.
3.0The loop
Takes a phone
Starts a session on one of your organization's dedicated phones.
Works it out live
Reads the screen, taps by description, types and waits, checking the screen after each step.
Hands back a script
Asks whether you want Python or Go, then writes a script that runs without it.
Releases the phone
Stops the session when it's done, so the phone is free for the next job.
eval "$(axilio sessions start --phone-id ph_123 --export)"axilio phone observe -o jsonaxilio phone tap --query "the X app icon"axilio phone tap --query "the search icon"axilio phone tap --query "the Search field"axilio phone type "agentic infrastructure"axilio phone key enteraxilio phone wait-for "Top" --timeout 15saxilio sessions stop "$AXILIO_SESSION" --yes
Things to ask your agent
Plain-language jobs that run in an app or in the phone's browser.
4.0Examples
Research on X
“Take a phone, open X, search for ‘agentic infrastructure’ and summarize the top posts.”
The web on a phone
“Use the axilio CLI to take a phone, open the browser, search for something, then hand me the SDK script.”
A check you can rerun
“Find this product’s price in the shopping app, then give me a Python script that checks it again.”

5.0FAQ
axilio init writes the skill for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. Any other agent that can run shell commands can read the same skill from https://api.axilio.ai/api/v1/skill.
No. The agent drives the phone through the axilio CLI.
No. Browser sign-in needs a person, once. On a CI or headless machine, set an organization API key in AXILIO_API_KEY instead.
One of the dedicated phones your organization rents. axilio phones list shows the ones free to use now.
Yes. Watch the session live in the dashboard, replay its recording afterwards, or read its step-by-step trace with axilio sessions trace.
Run axilio init --agent claude --force (or codex, or cursor). Each skill file notes the CLI version that wrote it.
$15 a day, $75 a week or $180 a month per dedicated phone, with unlimited hours. Describing a target on screen uses a vision model, billed per call. Pricing →
